Can you dial on capped turrets?

Can you dial on capped turrets why or why not? (I have a sig buckmaster 3-12x44 should I upgrade it if I want to be capable to 500yds at the range)

If the scope tracks you’ll have zero issue dialing same as exposed

100% yes you can. You just need to make sure your dial is set on '0' after sighting in (which seems obvious) and then pay attention to resetting to zero without a stop.

But the internals are the same only difference is the size and design of the actual visual part of the turret and dial. In general there is no difference on the actual build/function of the working parts of the optic.
