Somewhat new to precision loading for bolt guns. Loading new Peterson 6.5 prc brass. Should I be concerned with the swiping on these cases? Please educate me…

H1000 - 56.5gr / brand new Peterson / 143 eldx / tikka t3x 24 inch.

ambient temp was like 80 degrees. Only producing like 2830… aiming for at least 2900 if possible.

Primers still look round. But id say your getting close. I had to switch to n565 to get 2940...fwiw
What was the bolt lift like?

Appreciate the feedback. Bolt lift wasn’t, terrible - I would describe as minor resistance while lifting.

Are you shooting a similar barrel length/bullet?

Yes, 24" christensen barrel
156 berger
Lapua brass
N565
Federal match primer

If it's starting to show pressure signs already I would try a different powder. I've never had good results trying to push loads to far.
