Which primer should I start working loads with? I’d like to buy some factory Hornady, but that’s obviously not an option. Federal 210? Federal 210m? Federal 215?

I use the 210m I’ve heard rule of thumb over 60 grains of powder go with a magnum primer.

210 M’s work best for me, I’ve tried CCI 250’s, 215M’s, but 210 M’s were the clear winner.

I think either size will work since the powder charge is on the border. That said I am running 210Ms and it is working very well with RL26.

I had a good supply of the regular Winchester Large rifle primers so I started working up loads with them first. Getting great results with them

Bumping up an ancient thread to see what guys are using in 2026 😆. I have ample supply of either 210m or 215m. Seems like most are using 210's but the load charge will likely be close to that old rule of 60gr to use a 215. I am planning on Lapua brass, h1000, n565 or N570.
