Did some load development for the 6.5 PRC
156 EOL. 3 powders , 10 charge weights per.
Includes target developed shots day one and today (wouldn’t let me load more)

Top left 7 shot 140 elite
Bottom left 5 140 elite
2 middle 3 shots per 156 EOL
Top right 7 156 EOL
Bottom right 147 ELD
Details:
Proof 24” 7.5 twist- ADG 3X annealed, .262 mandrel- federal 210 primer- COAL 2.987- 30 degrees- 100 yards.
Seems like n565 was most consistent throughout the test with 4 good nodes.

56.5 2855 3.3 / 8 / .22
57.6 2902 / 6.1 - 15 / .33
58.6 2962 / 5.2 - 11 / .19 group (light ejector marks)
H1000 had one good one I explored
57.5 2953 SD 8 ES 18 .26 group.
H4831sc Decent node at 54.3 2901 9.8 / 23 . 44 group.
Didn’t like the fill % and light pressure signs at 55. So moved on.
(Blew primer at 56.4)
N55 seemed to be the clear winner so I decided to explore a wide node from 56-57.3.
Day 1) after shooting 2 good groups with no vertical stringing I end up settling on 56.5 2855, after 50 rounds I was done for the day.
Day 2) 15 degrees loaded and shot 5 consecutive 5 shot .4-.5 groups. With a combined SD 8 - ES 16. Now to stretch it out some.
Day 3) 30 degrees with 5-15 mph winds.
400 yards drop was 1.5 low, after adjusting shot 10 shot 2-3/4” group (need to work on my wind skills)
Today shot 2 more 3 shot groups. Think this load is good.
Just for fun I loaded 12 with 140 elite hunter and 56.5 N565 - 2965 - single digit SD - low es (forget the exact) both groups were about .5”
Loaded 3 with same charge 147 ELD M
2922 SD 2.2 ES 5 .44 group.
N565 appears to be the magic powder for 140 grain and up in the 6.5 PRC
