6.5 PRC barrel on a long action?

All,
Last year I built myself my dream 7PRC on a Kelblys Atlas Lite, Peak Bastion and carbon six barrel. Got the rifle just under 9.5lbs all up with a can and stock pack.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 20" Proof Sendero Lite 6.5 PRC barrel for the gun for range and deer size game. I have a bench vice so swapping isn't a big deal. My thinking is I could drop a bit of weight and recoil for when I don't need it. I still can't keep myself in the scope to spot impacts with the 7.

Am I getting myself into trouble putting a 6.5 PRC in a long action?

Shouldn't be an issue. Howa builds their 6.5 PRC rifles on a long action. Tikka rifles are basically a long action and they work fine with a 6.5 PRC and you can run a long bolt stop with a long magnum magazine and it will feed well.
