keep a eye on starline brass they run a batch of it every so often . i agree with jake on the 95 gr. vmax that is all i use on coyotes. and shot a few deer with them
I just got some 123 SSTs from Midsouth. One of my local shops here in WA had a pile of several types too a week ago. I was going to try to buy brass/bullets but the loaded ammo was near the same price as the components.
I've had great luck with 123 SST and killed a nice chunky doe at 200 yards this winter with it. They've been kind of a pain to find lately. They make a 123 ELD-m that supposed to be designed for the Grendel that might work well on deer and antelope sized critters.
I need to check but I might have some Hornady brass. I'll shoot you a PM if I find a usable amount
I also just got some of the 123 ELDMs (Hornady Black) locally. It's all a bit pricey, but going to try them and the SSTs on deer this year. The Grendel is going to bark this year!
@NRA4LIFE so which one was it midway or midsouth lol.
What part of WA? I grew up in Port Angeles.
I can’t find loaded Grendel for less that $30 a box.
I’ve recently purchased enough components to keep me going for a while, though if I ran across some brass for a fair price I’d probably pick some more up. I kinda went over board on buying powder . I can load for about $1 per round. Reloading would obviously be cheaper.
I got SST ammo from Midsouth and Bullets from Midway. $30 ammo is going to be cheap for anything other than Wolf steel case stuff. I bought a couple boxes locally of the Hornady ELDMs for aroud $33 I think. I live near Maple Valley.
