6.5 Creedmoor whitetail bullet

The 129 hornady's worked well on the one deer I shot with a 6.5 creed. The partitions would be my top choice though. Never seen them not work well but haven't personally tried them in a 6.5 creed.
 
I don't think there is any need to load anything but a basic SP bust to kill a whitetail.

But, that is no reason not to have some reloading fun. Plus, I like the look of plastic tips vs exposed lead.

Tested so far:
140g TGK
143g Eldx
140g BTs

All performed great at 80-250yds. To be honest, it felt like cheating because accuracy was outstanding and the deer couldn't ru far without lungs.

If I get back to my 6.5CM, I plan to test some 127g LRX's.
 
I’ve shot a couple of bucks this year with my 6.5 Creedmoor and 142 grain ABLR handloads. I’ve been really happy with them. Both bucks have been inside 100 yards.
