6.5 Bullet for antelope

On antelope I'm picking a bullet which preserves as much meat as possible.
Just not a lot of meat on pronghorn. I would hate to blow up 2 shoulders worth of meat with a fragmenting bullet.
But that's just me.

Anybody throw a 129gr SST at them? Superformance claims 2940 fps on the box.

Just getting back from a WY Antelope hunt. 6.5 CM with 143 ELD X - 231yrds. it went straight through both lungs. Normal meat damage for a gun shot.

A buddy and I were drawn for Trophy Antelope here in Alberta. I’ll be using the 147ELD in a Tikka SL 6.5CM.

Both of us ended up using the 147ELD for our Antelope. The bullet performed well and killed quickly.

I use a 142 grain Nosler ABLR. Definitely a lot of bullet for antelope, but it's what I use for other species. Consistent performance, dope, etc. takes a lot of stress out of

What caliber do you shoot? How do you have it loaded(CBTO pr COAL) and what powder? I'm working on LD right now for 6.5 PRC.
