Is there any chance whatsoever the a Zeiss 3-12x56 will work with Warne 30mm low rings, a Warne 20 MOA rail and a CA Mesa 6.5 CM? Long shot I know but I already have I the base and rings and was looking to use them if I could.

Yea I was hoping that 20moa rail might help a bit. May have to just buy new rings.

The 20 MOA rail would make it worse as the front would be closer to the barrel than a 0 MOA rail.

The rear ring on a 20 MOA Rail will be 1/100th of an inch higher than the rear ring on a 0 MOA rail relative to the front ring. It's not a significant change either way.

Might want to check your .001” measurement on difference between a 0 MOA rail and a 20 MOA rail.

At any rate, a 20 MOA rail will put the scope bell closer to the barrel than a 0 MOA rail. Can’t argue that no matter the measurement.

Sorry to the original poster. I was just trying to help you make the correct decision.

All good. I actually found someone that has this exact setup and the 56mm is fine with low rings. Different rifle though.

0.01 is kinda different from 0.001...

FYI, a 56mm objective, 30mm tube, 20moa rail and low Warne Rings work perfectly with the barrel contour of the short action CA Mesa. Cheek weld is perfect as well.
