I sincerely hope he didn't care. It must be a miserable life walking on egg shells always worried about who you might offend. Tell the truth and be sincere, let the cards fall where they may.

For the record, Canada (and all NATO states plus some) are vassals of the American Empire (NATO). Would becoming a state not be a huge step up?
