5.56 ammo in a .223 tikka

Wanted to revive an old thread, just picked up a T3x Ranahan in .223, probably haven't put 50 rounds though it and had an issue with Wyoming Cartridge Co. 5.56 62gr ammo. Popped primers and the extractor came out. Was able to get it back together at the house and seems to function fine. Chalking this up to ammo manufacturer issues, as I didn't have any issues with 55gr nato or Frontier 75gr.

I inherited 40k rounds of m193 that had been hoarded in the 70' and early 80's. Ive shot thousands of them in various 223/223ai's over the years. I have 5-600 through my latest tikka 223 with no issues at all so far.
