48" Shiras or Bust!

I just talked with Aron on the phone, he was at camp, getting warm and dry. He did not mention anything about a moose, but I also did not ask. His phone was about to die so the talk was short. But they are not lost and are back at camp.

Its the last morning we can hunt:)

Nothing died yesterday, but it wasn't for lack of animals.

I passed several deer and had a GIANT come in at last light. It was legal shooting h hours, but at 450 yards, I couldn't see shit. Or at least enough to confirm target.

We had a bull below me at day break that I thought was a shooter, but he had a stop sign on the left (it was enormous) and a boat paddle on the right.

For this morning, Kelly is heading to the spot I was in yesterday and I'm heading in with Ryan. Kelly is wanting to whack a deer, so he shouldn't have much of an issue where I was sitting.

We'll be about a mile apart from each other.

I'm landing in Denver in 20...

Ryan killed nothing but time....

50+ bulls passed

More than that spotted

So what did we learn from this?

IF YOU'RE GONNA TROPHY HUNT, BE PREPARED TO GO HUNGRY.... OR EAT BEEF!

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MY VETERAN BROTHERS!!!

RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!!

Aron and crew, thanks very much for taking us along for the ride. Sounds like you guys put in the effort needed to get it done, it just didn't come together.

I'll be calling later today about that sleeping bag...

Happy Veterans Day! Thanks to all who do and have served!!!

Well, the title of this thread was 48" or Bust,, I would hardly call it a "bust". Good times spent with good friends doing something you love... That my friend is a win. win any day.

You don't kill moose like this.

Without letting a few like this, walk.

Happy Veterans Day to the "Rok Sliders",and those that support us. Tip a cold one to those that came before us and to those youngsters that now hold the line.
