Anybody used the “shooter buck” 3D target sold at Cabelas, Amazon, etc...? Is it worthwhile or worth spending a more for something else? Thanks.

If it’s this one I highly recommend NOT getting it. My arrows poked through on the first shot.

Thought that might be the case with that price. Thanks for the info. Will go higher quality.

Also you can catch rinehart 3ds on Camofire pretty regular

I have looked at Rinehart. That is probably the direction I will go. Thanks.

Rinehart or something of higher quality. I've had 2 shooter bucks and they simply don't last. The second one I stored under my deck when not using and I've had it maybe a month and the front leg is broken off and the core is about done in. They're just junk.

Rinehart are the best. The mini elk is affordable and lasts a long time.
I got a blem on Camofire and it is about the size of a small to medium size deer only shorter. So far, unless I miss the core and hit bogy, it is holding up better than the cheap deer target.

How is arrow removal on outside the core hits? A few people on Amazon are claiming but breaks their arrows...

I have the rinehart mini-elk. Arrow removal from the core isn't too difficult, but gets increasingly more difficult outside of the core area. But, breaking arrow shafts during removal has never happened. I would highly recommend using some sort of arrow lube, especially when shooting rineharts, to aid in arrow removal. Any commercial arrow lube with an arrow puller makes removal easy. Even some dawn kitchen soap will help. With that said, I prefer to shoot McKenzie targets over rinehart.

I rub my arrows with a bar of soap after every shot. Still sometimes a two handed deal after a body shot with my thigh against the target.

I have the shooter buck and have gone to filling the holes in the core with great foam rather than buying replacements. I NEVER shoot my broadheads at this thing.
