Depends on which rifle you’re going to put it on. There are some 350L’s that come threaded 5/8x24 from the factory. If you buy one that’s not threaded, it’ll depend on what the OD of your barrel is. If it’s < .675, most smiths don’t advise threading it 5/8x24 because there’s not enough meat there. So then your options are to either thread it to 1/2x28 and use some sort of muzzle device or adapter, or there are some smiths that will add a shoulder and then thread it to 5/8x24. I opted for the latter because I didn’t want to mess with adapters so I had the shoulder added, very pleased with how it turned out.I have a 36m and am planning on getting a 350L . Does everyone pretty much use the 1/2x28 9mm brake to attach it?
