Is the extra 200 fps worth it?
The goal was to buy a new rifle. I have a guy with both calibers in left hand for sale. The 340 is a wood stock and it’s an older model Weatherby not produced in left hand anymore. The 338/378 is a new accumark with a synthetic stock. The 340 is 800. The other is 1800What's the goal?

Some people still have the bigger is better/deader mentality. Or he just might want one. I have a 338 rum that shoots absolutely fantastic, however it's such a burden to shoot the with muzzle blast and recoil, it stays in the safe! To each their own.Are you just collecting obsolete guns?

200 accubond or partition in ur Rum and split the brownie down the middle. You think you need a 20mm cannon to kill a bear? If you're busting alder tickets in close quarter get a 45-70 lever gun.I have a 300 rum but want something bigger for brown bear.
