Its shooting Berger 300 grain OTMs at 3100 with Peterson Brass and VV570 powder

Kills elk at 720 yards.

Pretty freaking cool man! Any chance you’d give us the E4 mafia breakdown on 33 XC vs 338 Terminator? Mostly ease of sourcing components, or is there a downrange effect you dig?

Love it. IMO BAT makes the best 700 clones. The Vesper makes titanium actions almost irrelevant.

The 33XC can get me to 3100 FPS with 300 Grain Bergers with a 24” barrel. I would have to push a 338 Terminator with a 28” barrel hard to get that. But the trade off will be barrel life. Not 338 Snipetac bad but it won’t be my daily driver either

How’s the recoil? Is this the shortest length you would go for the barrel?
