This project has been a long time coming and the wait was worth it.

Parts list & pictures to follow-
Rite now 1/3 moa groups at 300 yards is common with this rifle. I have settled on a 300 grain berger on top of 141 grains of H50BMG lit by a Fed 215m all wrapped up in Bertram factory formed brass. As of now without validating at long ranges we are looking at 3300fps, that makes for over 3600 ft/lbs @ 1000 yards.

This will make for one hell of an elk, bear , dear or really any animal hammer. Sure, you may not want to pack this all over the woods on a hunt, but why would you not want to pack this up to your favorite Ridgetop and be able to reach as far as you practice with this rifle and know that you have plenty of energy to dump that animal?

This rifle had to be multi-purpose I did not want a dedicated ELR rig that would not even be legal to hunt with where I live, not to mention the cost that would go into building 2 rifles to shoot long ranges with authority. So obviously there was a 16 pound weight limit and wanting to go with Quality Parts that would give optimal results puts a little bit of a crunch on that goal below is a list of the parts that have gone into building this rifle, it was put together by Dallas at Lane precision in Pocatello Idaho and as you can see by the pictures it is a great looking rifle.

1st we needed a good action= BAT CT customized by
them for me to reduce weight would work well.
2nd a long barrel to help with velocityand optimal powder
burn with slow powders, ROCK CREEK BARRELS have
proven to be very accurate
3rd the stock to help hang on to this beast MCMILLAN a5
adj with carbon shell. Very solid stocks
4th glass NIGHTFORCE nxs 5-22x56 with ultralight rings.
Repeatable, dependable
5th trigger TRIGGER TECH special set very low
6th bi-pod the EVOLUTION has proven to be a welcome
upgrade from my Harris
7th definitely not ranked 7th, but the TERMINATOR t4 ti
take the recoil

At this time shooting with all these components together to make this package other than possibly trying a different scope to help with early and late hours hunting clarity I would not change a thing. This thing nearly drives itself with no recoil not more than maybe a 243 and being heavy enough to sit very well on a bipod and rear bag there is not too much effort put into making a good shot with this rifle.

Just got all the brass loaded up so we can try to get some more bodies on this rifle. Might get another elk or 2 knocked down. Hope we get some good bullet performance on this one.

Last elk was 300 grain elite hunters, this time 300 grain otm's
