308 Howa Superlite Factory Ammo Suggestions?

Hey guys,

I have a 308 Howa Superlite coming in the mail and plan on bear hunting with it next month. Long term I'll probably work up handloads for it, but my garage isn't done being built yet, so my reloading stuff is still packed away. Does anyone have some factory ammo recommendations? Might save me some messing around if I start off on the right foot. I know some of you know this stuff pretty well. Thank you in advance!

My 6.5 creedmoor superlite really likes 143g eld x. I grouped three shots all under 1 inch at 100 yards.

#2 nosler 142 g accubond long range about 1 inch groups

#3 Remington core lokt broke the barrel in with this round. I hit dead center of the target 6/20 times the rest of the shots were down to the left. I got used to the gun, then shot groups with the other ammo. The gun is super fun to shoot!

#4 Winchester with 142 gr with nosler accubond long range. One of the rounds didn’t eject properly and load properly. It was a silver case instead of brass. Groups were a little worse than nosler factory ammo

I know it’s not .308 ammo but wanted to share in case others have the 6.5 creedmoor model.
