Coming back to this question that I posted a good while ago, I’ve been using factory eldx for my 300wsm but I’m gathering reloading materials for this rifle right now and I’m trying to decide on a bullet to use for it, I want to be able to take deer sized game out to 600yds and steel out to 1k+

Im thinking about the accubond 180
Berger elite hunter 180

Let me know what you recommend

Of the two bullets you mentioned the Berger is a phenomenal shooting bullet that will be great on game and easily shoot well out to 1000 yards.

No first had experience with the Berger but I've heard good things from those that have used them. I am looking at the 140 Elite hunters this year in my 6.5 prc if I can get a good load worked up.

In terms of the Accubond, its probably one of my favorite bullets all around. In 30-06 and 270, every animal I've shot has either been DRT or ran max of 40yds and plenty of blood to follow. I think you can go either way and not have an issue.

All kinds of good bullets out there. If you are having success and can get ahold of the accubonds, that’s the way I would go.

TMKs or ELDMs. Pick your weight based on barrel twist and/or preferred carnage.

Accubonds are good but probably not the best 600 yard bullet and they are darn pricey for steel.

what is your magazine length? The 180 EH has a long nose and will need to be seated deep to fit in standard 2.90 or shorter mags. That could be fine, just expect a long jump to the lands. I'd probably try h4350 with it first. I like 200 eldx in a magazine length constrained WSM. I'd look at 208 ELDs or 200.20x bergers if not magazine constrained.
