300 wsm bullet

I’m running 180 accubonds at 2960 out of a 20.5 in barrel. Reloader 17 and adg brass. No pressure signs.
Gets me to 680 above 1800fps. I consider 700 my max distance.
Elk hate accubonds
I’ve considered this as well. But honestly if I’m going to run the 180 I’ll probably stay with the EH as it’s wildly accurate from this rifle. I tend to try and stay away from RL17 (I do have a few pounds though) as our temp sway during hunting season gets wild here. Some days are 10, some days are 80

I’ve seen the scenar a ton, just a lot of mixed reviews where I read. Seems they need a higher impact velocity than other match bullets.
I came across the same thing, but with a 20” Barrled WSM you should be able to drive them pretty hard to get you a good long ways out there at a modest DA

I may still give them a shot. I have 200 berger 168 classic hunters on the way (found them on sale for a great price, and if they don't work in this I may shoot them from my 16" BLR .308). Once it cools down again I may also work a load with 180 Accubonds and RL17 (though i really would like to try the 168 ABLR, even though I have yet to own a rifle the ABLR will shoot in, mabye this is the one)

I have an 18” and played the same game you are working on. Tried 168vld, 180eh, 185jugg and 200.20x all Berger. Shockingly the 200.20x with N560 is doing to best for me running lower 2700’s. Still doing a little testing with the 185 Jugg trying to land in the low to mid 2800’s with it. The 168vld did great but if you are expecting longer shots the 185 and 200 win in the wind.
