Barnes doesn't have the preferred load on the data sheet that is on there now, but the older one from 2017 had Magnum as the best shooting powder for the 180 ttsx in the 300WM.

As well. I am curious when folks go away from monos because they weren't happy with performance. Many times it's one experience. Typically, the animal is dead and has been examined when folks say they weren't happy. It's an old adage.... "At what point in the animals death did the bullet fail".Yep the 168 would be a good choice also!
I’ve never seen an animal shot with a ttsx bullet go very far.
