Berger 215 hybrid
Always a good choice!200 gr. Partitions for everything.
When I owned and hunted elk with a 300winmag or a 300wsm I always used federal premium 180gr partitions. Never a problem providing they shoot accurately from your rifle. I started with a 270win in the early 70s, moved to a 30-06 a few years later, then to the 300 magnums, and currently have been using a 308win, again with federal premium 180gr partitions. I've a hankering to try the test bullets, but I have too many partitions at the moment.I purchased a 300 win mag used and it came with some rounds,
150 grain. What do you guys like to shoot.
The gun will probably only be used for bear and elk. It shoots good with the 150s but am thinking I should bump up to 180s. And suggestions?
