300 Win 160gr Tikka Hammer Load

Looking for any powder suggestions for 160gr hammer hunter in 300win mag. Had very good luck with rl-16 in my brothers veil with 162absolute hammers but hammer doesnt recommend them any more for the 1:11 tikka's. Thinking ill prob stick with rl-16 but open to any other opinions on powder. Will be using cci 250's and nosler brass since i have a mountian of them. Thanks Brent

Mine gets over 3400 fps easily with either reloader 26 or h4350

H4350 getting 3355fps and .5” groups at 100yds.

Hammer 166 Shock with RL23 is doing 3342 fps in my dads Browning A Bolt win mag. I loaded for it and ran a ladder higher but accuracy was too good to push higher.

What kind of grouping were you getting? Would like to try some of these.

It’s a pretty solid 0.5-0.6 MOA load. Not braked and lighter rifle so can be a little tough to shoot at times.

Solid. I don’t have any RL powder but have a few others. Will try and see what results I get.

That H4350 with the lighter bullets in 300wm seem to be the sweet spot...
