What is out there for options for 300 spine arrows in the 9.0-9.5gpi range? This would come out to a very well-rounded arrow for my setup (~500grs @ 270 fps with proper spine & length).
Durability of shaft is important and tolerances can be middle of the pack.

I like the 5mm arrows (.204) but I'm open to any options in this GPI range for 300 spine

Black eagle Spartan

I’ve got Spartans, unknown on durability at this point. They are the only arrow I’ve ever had inserts pull out of and the nocks don’t seem to fit super great in the provided bushing as I have issues with them turning or pulling out slightly if i pull an arrow off the string. They do shoot well for me

I've got Gold tip pierce platinum.

If I had a do over I would have not done micros and did something that I could use an iron will HIT insert and collar on.

The micros have been fine but the components kinda suck. Durability has been fine. Tolerances were middle of the pack for a premium arrow. The black eagles I have mess with were tighter tolerances and straightness even though the straightness was advertised as the same. Ive got them straight but its more work then I would do again. Also I really like my firenock but the micros can be a bit touchy.

Sirius Apollo is the only .204" shaft I know of that falls within your preferred gpi range at 300 spine.
The Sirius Apollo or the Victory RIP TKO's would both be great choices IMO. The Victories are just below his range, but their durability make up for that and he could manipulate his final desired weight with an assortment of different inserts. Before I tried the RIP TKO's I always figured I needed to be in that 11gpi range in a .204 arrow for the durability I want. But these are great shafts for durability, weight, and getting higher FOC if you're into that at all. I use 75gr brass HIT's on my Elite 250's just so they come in around the 500gr I want.

One of my setups is a 28.5 Velocity xt 300(8.8) with a 100 grain brass insert. With 100g head and wrap and fusion vanes its 490ish I think. 100 grain brass also works with the hunter xts

What component system do you use? That’s my only downside. I like Easton & currently shoot the 5mm 340 axis
Believe it or not I used the included aluminum half outs without any complaints. Previously was shooting 4mm FMJ with the titanium half outs with no issues as well.

I’ve seen plenty of people talk about durability issues with them. What have you seen?
I haven’t had any issues for two seasons now. Unless you pull a shot into no mans land with some hidden rocks! Not the arrows fault. I’m using an ethics inserts with them.

If you wanted to go just a hair bit lighter, the RIP TKO's are a hell of an arrow, but weigh 8.8 GPI. When I was making the decision the other on my list was the sirius apollo at 9.4 gpi. I didn't really even give black eagle a second look since I've read too much about their arrows not being durable.

Black Eagle Rampage comes in a little less than what you're looking for but you can add weight/ weights to their half outs to increase overall weight and FOC.

Black Eagle- Carnivore/Zombie/Spartan/Rampage basically fit this criteria for you, you can adjust weight with wraps, weights, point weight, etc.
