Talk to Shawn Carlock at Defensive Edge. Call him. He often picks up the phone and is the best smith I've dealt with. But, get in line behind the .338 Terminator he's building for me this winter...
I'd just go with the .300 Terminator if you have to have a .308. He has the Terminator action and his own mag box like the Wyatts but just a smidge longer. Have heard good things about the Terminator action. Manners has his action so they can send out a stock inletted for it.
I have theTerminator action in a LRKM in the 338 Terminator + P and love it.Talk to Shawn Carlock at Defensive Edge. Call him. He often picks up the phone and is the best smith I've dealt with. But, get in line behind the .338 Terminator he's building for me this winter...

Why do you want/need the plus p? mtmuley
I had him +P my 338 Edge and did not see enough increase in velocity to justify it, in my opinion. I don't what the +P throat has to do with the weight of the rifle but maybe I'm misunderstanding
Understood. We saw just under 50fps increase with the +P throat, thats with some high pressure loads alsoThe plus p throat has nothing to do with the weight of the rifle it has to do with the performance. I am trying to pack as much performance as I can in a backpack weight rifle. What kind of velocity gains did you see with the plus p throat?
