300 PRC Development Journey

Started with 210 Bergers and they shot terrible. 2 5 shot groups that spread 1.5-2. Going to try the 225 ELDM. I am thinking the best options would be H1000 or Retumbo, I have both and a few more options. Does anyone run these? Using X Bolt Pro McMillan. Also going to try shooting a little larger sample size this go around. Don’t really care about speed, just looking for accuracy 1/2” or less at 100.

Went to range and started H1000. Groups were decent but ed/sd terrible. I was at 2881 average with still 1g to go for Max. Going to try Retumbo and RL26 next. Also switched the recoil hog brake with the Area 419. The 419 brake is much better with recoil reduction. This 300 PRC kicks as much as my 6.5 PRC.
