Short and sweet.
I bought a ridgeline through a Z6 on it.
Reloaded 6 recipes went to the range shot and cleaned shot and cleaned.
Im grouping 3-7”s.
I shoot alot. I own a lot. I can take a ruger american and find a reload to get 1” or less.

Im simply confused on why this gun wont group. Ive never broke in a rifle either and still not sure if what they say is needed but i did it.
Any thoughts on what to so.
Im shooting 210grain bergers

Start with the easiest and cheapest options. Are the action bolts tight? Are the rings and bases tight? Is the scope proven or new? Is the crown of the barrel damaged? Does the rifle have the correct twist rate for the bullets you’re shooting?

I know it all sounds like simple dumb stuff but in my tinkering I’ve found I look too deep in the creek and that it was something simple all along. If all the bases are covered then you have a place to go from.

If your groups are between 3" and 7" you have a serious problem. If it is that bad, any barrel defect should be obvious to plain sight.

Step one: Inspect the barrel.

Step two: Tighten up everything on the rifle and mounts.

Step three: Go to a known scope.

Step four: Send it back to CA.

All the above. Im shooting out of vise.
Checked the barrel action is tight.
Scope is a proven killer.
Guess im fixing to ship it back and see what they say.
Crap happens.
