30-30 Copper ammo (Barnes) penciled through Whitetail Buck this morning...thoughts?

As others have said, I personally would be hesitant using all copper out of 30-30 given the anemic speeds of the cartridge and the velocity required by copper bullets to get adequate expansion. Personally I use the lever evolution and have had success with it. I would like to try the federal hammer down or fusion as they are both bonded bullets (might be the same bullet actually) and would perform better at slower speeds while still staying together.
You can make a copper bullet work at those velocities. If you look at the barnes loading for 30-30 it has a much wider hollow point.
Maker builds their bullets with velocities in mind. For example their sub-sonic loads that do better than any lead bullet at those speeds and they have a 150gr bullet specifically for 30-30 speeds. It would be my top choice in any bullet for a 30-30.
