Last year, I got both exhaust manifolds done with oil and coolant lines for under $2K.
In through the fender liner.
?
That's not bad. I got quoted $2700 parts included but I wanted to use the BD Diesel manifolds so I bought everything during one of their sales and plan on doing it all myself. Not looking forward to it, but it will save me $2k in labor.

It’s not that bad. Just time consuming. And good call on the ductile manifolds. They handle heat a lot better than the oe units. Hopefully it works out for you.

Those manifolds still rotting off?
I had a 99 f150 that did that. I sold it to a friend that had a guy take a fender off and replace one. I think he paid $500.00. course this was 10 years ago.
I have owned 3 f150's none had any real problems I could not fix and I'm no mechanic.

My 2021 ranger EcoBoost averages 23-25 mpg.
I am nervous about the Transmisson now that it's out of warranty. That and the heat/ AC blend door warping and breaking.

I didn’t read the whole thread. However my business has had a few fords. 2011 3.5 eb lasted 190k until it needed a timing chain and had turbo issues. A 2013 3.5 eb that had a bad timing chain rattle at 120k. Got rid of it asap. We have had 3 v8 f150s in the last 10 or so years. We had the last year of the 5.4 triton that lasted 320k no major issues just leaking exhaust manifolds. That truck was a service truck and in the fields a lot. A 2015 v8 that we sold running well at 235k and I currently drive a 2023 5.0 and have about 40k working miles on it with zero issues. V8 fords have treated me well. 3.5 eco boosts have not. $.02

I bought the BD manifolds last year on sale and provided them to my mechanic for installation.
Seems like a better design.
