I passed up on this buck last year. I just couldn't do it standing by my garage, it just didn't seem fair. But, he made it and is back again. He was much better last year.

I wouldn't blame you for killing him but I certainly appreciate that you let him walk.

Tough to do but the right call. I live on the fringe of a town thats loaded with yuppies and big mule deer its good to keep the neighbors happy

Good to keep the neighbors happy, but a perfectly legal deer, in a perfectly legal season? Go for it.
 
Great ethics on your part. I mean who wants to shoot a yard pet? You could use a rocking chair cushion for camo.
I think you showed good restraint and ethics. Besides, he could be bigger next year and then.....lol. fatrascal
