Nosler has a 1:10 as the minimum and recommends 1:9. I'm just starting to reload and wanting to load these bullets. I'm looking for anyone who has had issues with these in a 1:10 and those who have had good results. I'm shooting a 270 Win, 1:10, 24" if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

If he had 170s stabilize in his gun and his buddies, I think the 150s should be fine then. Thanks for the link, that was interesting.

I shoot the nosler lr 150grain ammunition in my kimber montana. 1:10 twist. It is the most accurate ammunition I have used.

If you load some you should post the results. I’d be interested to hear what you get for velocity and groups.

I checked on Berger's twist rate calculator, at sea level it only reaches marginal stabilization, this is in a 1:10" at 2800 fps. It does not appear to fully stabilize at any altitude below 2600 ft.
