.270 recommendations?

I'm using the Federal 130 Trophy bonded in my 270... 200 yards for 3 shots gives less than 1"... Hard to beat that with handloads, and I promise it'll kill anything in N.A. you point it at...

I liked Barnes 130gr ttsx out of my 270 Win. I would trust that round for any deer or elk at any reasonable distance.

Assorted 130 grain .277 bullets. Fired into jugs at 100 yards. All over 55 grains of Imr 4350. The Barnes on the end of the line is the 110 grain TTSX. Also caught at 100 yards. The charge weight escapes me at the moment.

Left to right are the Accubond, old school Grand Slam, Hornady Spire point, and Trophy Bonded Tip. The 145 ELDX didn't come out so nicely. It lost a lot of weight. Didn't puke the core though. I should take a pic of it too. I have a pic of the new construction Grand Slam 150 here someplace as well.

I've been real happy with the 130 grain swift scirocco's that I've been shooting the last few years.

To this 270win lovefest (well deserved) I will only add that Doubletap manufactures ammo w 160 gr NP and 180 gr! Woodleigh Weldcore. The only elk I took w 270win dropped @ the shot w DT 160 gr @ 150 yds, through upper half of ribcage.

LRX/ GMX will hang w/ the 145ELD to the ExpansionWindow

most likely, ...gotsta plow some Burger, to catch one
