I have a chance to pick one up. I did a quick search, and it seems ammo or brass is impossible to find. Does anyone know where to get brass?

Looks like Hornady may be making brass for the 243 and 223 variants this year. Easy to neck up if that's the case. Otherwise watch GunBroker or anywhere else someone might be selling it secondhand.

None really. It’s a nice gun at a decent price and it look like a fun project.

I had one when my son was young. It's closer to 25-06 I believe that a creedmoor. Low recoil he loved it. Brass is hard to find though.

I think it’s a cool little cartridge. Very similar to the 25-06 in performance, which is a proven game getter.
