Hey all, trying to drum up enough support to get @hereinaz to run a prefit batch of Tikka 257 Roberts AI. I made up the dummy cartridge this morning for throating from some 7x57AI brass that I shoot in one of my old Mausers.

Norma and PPU both make really good .257 Roberts and 7x57 Mauser brass (7x57 is way easier to find). Lapua also makes 8x57 ammo/brass, but I haven't tried to neck down one of those to .257 yet. Likely requires neck turning to do the 8x57 brass.
GRT has this round at about 2800fps from a 20" barrel.
If anyone is on the fence on this, I'll throw a well discounted set of Tikka biathlon/globe sight mounts your way to help sweeten the deal. PM me.

- .257 Roberts AI 40 degree (Redding Makes dies as you can see in the photo above)
- 134gr ELDM @ 3.165" COAL (128gr ELDX will work out about the same, both make great use of a standard tikka long mag as pictured above)
- 20", 1:7.5 twist, threaded 5/8-24
- $487 (if we can get 5 people)
