Looking to get new arrows for my hoyt ventum set @ 80lbs, draw length 30.5", arrow length @ 30.5", and approx. 150 gr in the front. Couldn't find much info on spine charts but was leaning towards black eagle arrows.

Does 250-200 spine make much of a difference with this set up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the patience get 3 shafts from Lancaster in 250 and 3 in 200, build and tune them, and see which ones fly better. Probably won't be much of a difference at all. It it was me I would grab 250's and be done with it.

Do this ^

Could also cut those arrows down to 29in if you really wanted to depending on where you want your broadhead to be.

250 spine should work fine and will give you many more arrow options than if you go stiffer. Options are very limited for 200 spine.

My Ventum barely shot a 300, at 70 lbs and 29 inches. I had to cut 3 inches off my shaft and shim. I don't know if they have all preferred something stiff or if it was just mine, but you may end up needing the 200.

My draw length is 30.5" also and my arrows are all cut to 29.5". You can try that to stiffen up the shaft of the 250 a little bit. There's plenty of arrow left on my rest when at full draw.
