25 GT, is it the new 257 Roberts?

I have a ruger Tanger in 257 Roberts. I usually load the 120 grain Partiton or the 115 gr. Ballistic Tips. Easy to get to 2800 fps out of it's 20 inch barrel. For most hunting it does just fine. I know the new heavies are sleeker and hold velocity much longer than those two rather old bullet designs but it still provides useful range, damage and penetration.
