I'm trying to build a 25 creedmoor on a Tika action.

I'm heavily debating between taking it to a local gunsmith tool using Excalibur barrel, Or getting A PBB prefit. If I go with the prefit they have 2 different reamers the alpha or the black jack. My plan is to use this rifle for everything from deer to bear to elk shooting the 134 grain eldm

All this in mind what would you do, Go with the gunsmith and approximately 4 month wait, Or go for a prefit and have it in time for spring bear? Blackjack reamer, or alpha?

On the reamer side of it the blackjack is showing a .115 free bore spec and the other on pbb website is showing a .150, the other will let you run your bullet a little further out than the blackjack for more case capacity if your a hand loader, and on the prefit or gunsmith I can’t give my opinion on that cause I don’t have a pbb prefit so I don’t feel like my opinion is valid on that, if you have a good gunsmith do it and it’s not right he should fix it, I know just enough to be dangerous I hope this helps and if it confuses you just ignore it and I’m sorry lol

Id go longer freebore. Especially if running factory mags, you've got tons of room.

Pbb is inventorying tikka prefit blanks now. Allegedly 2-3 week lead time. If the available options are what you want id go that way for sure.

My 25 prc pbb has been pretty slick.
