I'm finally gonna start breaking in my barrel. I'll be using some hornady 134 Eldm. I'll burn 200 of those and start on my 135 tmk. The attached photo is a 135g TMK next to hornady 134 eldm next to a 22 cal 77g smk and a 90g 6mm accubond .

The break in load is
Hornady 6.5creed brass necked down to 25 cal. Used a mandrel die to set neck tension at .0025
Cci LRP
40g rl-17 This is on the "hotter side of things. Temps were about 85 and I was getting primer cratering. I've since dropped .5 grains, which puts me at 39.5g of RL17. This load was a shot in the dark guess based on burn rates and comparison to RL16 with a comparative analysis.
Hornady 134g ELDm seated to OAL listed in hornady's manual

The TMK will be
Alpha brass
Cci mag-SRP
H4350 probably 41.xx
OAL will be whatever my buddy set his OAL to because we have twin barrels

I've got two 25 creed barrels that should be showing up anyday. A 26" pbb 900 taperless that im planning to shoot 131 smk or 135 bergers. A 18" mcgowen im planning to shoot the 135 tmks. I ordered peterson brass for both of them.

Where'd you get the 135s! 😑

Those look nasty

Im fiending over here

No help on what you've got. But 135 bergers with 43.9 N555 are getting 2902 from my 28". Took it up to 44.7. 2960. No pressure signs (alpha brass). But I got scared. And for competition reliability wins

Mine is 24". My buddy was pushing Berger 135s at 2850 with his barrel so that's what I'm expecting. he pulled 1st place lightweight div. in his nrl match last month

Here are some of my numbers over the last couple of week. 25 CM w/ 18" Preferred Barrel. All Peterson brass with CCI 450s. These are all top of charge weight for my chamber. I'll continue to play with seating depth and backing off charge weight to get the best shooting groups and velocities. I'm real happy with it so far.

134 ELDMs - Staball 6.5 - 44g - 5 shots for 2750 fps avg and 11 SD - 3/4" group
134 ELDM's - H4350 - 40.5g 2630 avg and 14 SD - 3/4" group

128 ELDX - Staball 6.5 - 45g - 5 shots for 2880 fps and 17 SD - 1.2" group
128 ELDX - H4350 - 42g - 5 shots for 2786 fps and 6 SD - 1.1" group
128 ELDX - N555 - 43g - 5 shots for 2666 fps and 5 SD - .634"

You may be able to take the n555 load a little hotter to gain speed. In the loads ive built around it, its 2 gr above h4350 for same velocity. Same for pressure

I just happen to try Superformance and my 25 CM likes it. Running the 128 ELD-X 2935 out of a CarbonSix 20” barrel sub 1” groups at 100. Also tried the 116 Apex Afterburners 3025 same sub 1” groups.
That's good to know! I was worried about SD inconsistencies and potential for vertical stringing kind of like I'm seeing with Staball 6.5 but maybe it's work a try.

I’m running 47gr in both the 116 Afterburners and the 128 ELD-M with Peterson SRP brass. That 116 is a long bullet my coal on both is 2.840. The SD was low on both loads but only shot 5 each.
