245 EOL Berger Help / 300 RUM

I'm considering building a 300 RUM and eyeing the 245 EOL Berger as the intended projectile. I want the gun to be pretty lightweight and I'm unsure of the recoil. I currently have a lightweight 300 win and I'd like to do some testing to get a better idea of what I'm dealing with. I'd like to load up some hot loads with the 245s in my 300 win and see how they feel.

Problem is everyplace in the country seems to be sold out of them. Would there be another heavy stand-in that would work for my purposes? Another idea is that maybe one of you has 10 or 15 245s that you would be willing to part with for a small fee?

I built an 8 twist 30 nosler to shoot those bullets, it weighs 6.8lbs naked.
I'm getting 2825 with H1000 from a 24" barrel, recoil is no problem and barely decernable from 220s
I can probably spare 10 bullets
Shoot me a pm and I'll put them in the mail, no payment nescessary I've had guys do the same for me
