can’t decide on a scope for my sons new 243.

Not looking to break the bank. 200 or less. North east deer hunting. 3-9ish

What you recommend?

No personal experience with them but I’ve often read that the Burris FulField 3-9 is the answer to this question.
Personally, I’ve had very good luck with Bushnells cheaper scopes. Also Athlon.

Also heard good things about the Burris fullfields.
I have a vortex crossfire 2 on my sons .243. I won it at a raffle. It’s been fine so far. Retails new for less than $200.

I bought a new to me .270 and put a Burris Fullfield E1 (30 mm tube) on it that I got a screaming deal on and love it.

Yes, this is on a rifle that I will never shoot more than about 75 yards or so due to where I will use it. I did not want to break the bank and got one on Amazon for $91 delivered to my door.

I couldn't see the reticle 35 minutes after sunset and we get an hour after in SC. It went down the road
