The two most common scopes I've seen among the top competitors are the Leupold Mark 5 and the Nighforce NX8.Figured this place would be a good spot to ask.
I'm building a 6arc rifle, it's going to become my backpacking and most likely all around rifle until I get more efficient to shoot further than the ballistics allow. But, I'm looking at the SWFA scopes, would one of these be alright to run a NRL match? I'm really wanting to build a practical rifle, but want a scope I'll still enjoy shooting out at 1k for practice or matches.
I'm all new to NRL, and hoping of being able to attend the match in Boise unless it gets sold out, and the Spokane match. I just don't know what I'm getting myself into. Lol.
I use the NX8 4-32 for NRL and all hunting except when going ultralight. Then, I use the NXS 2.5-10x42.
I'm sure you could do just fine with SWFA scopes as long as you choose one with at least a 15x top end.
