I like the new iterations.

Curious to see how the new reticle work in practice. Surprised they left much of the wind holds at 0.5 considering most of the competition went to 0.2 or 0.25.

Fingers crossed for a 3-18ish LRHS/LRTS!

I have the xrs2. While the eyebox gets small/darker having a 50 obj I dont see this being a huge change.

Essentially, they changed the reticle some and adjusted the zoom range/obj to limit the eyebox issues at max mag.

If they didn't change the coatings on the glass then were just looking the same optics more geared toward higher end magnification.

Is it necessary? I dunno. Maybe they're trying to remain relevant?

It is good to see them continuing the iterative approach. What I want to know is: "why would I swap out my xrs2 for this?"
