Is anyone shooting 77gr TMK out of a 1/8 at distance? Looking to build a 20" Criterion but it's only in 1/8, not sure if I want to risk it.

My 20” 1:8 tikkas are shooting them just fine.

Way off. Over 500 yards. I get 500 with 2710 out of a 16”

You have an input or program error. 2800 fps gets you 500 yards at sea 600 ft above sea level.

With Stand1 77tmk ammo, I get 2771fps MV out of a 16 inch barrel... which at my elevation (4500) gets me to 570 yards before it drops below 1800fps.

With Black Hills 5.56 77tmk ammo, I get 2690fps MV out of the same 16 inch barrel, which gets me to 525 yards.

I would guess you should be at least 100fps more with a 20 inch barrel... I think I was around 2925fps with the stand1Armory stuff out of a factory length tikka stainless superlite (22 inches I think?)... that got me out to about 640 yards and 1800fps with the longer barrel.

Not sure what distance you're asking about but I'm at 1800 fps at 675 and have been
plinking at over 1000 with it without issue.
Tikka T3X, 1 in 8 twist, 18" bbl.
