So serious question, if the 223 or 22s in the general opinion are valid for most any big game, why isn’t the 5.7 the best pistol cal for intended use. Personally imo it’s better than any 9mm, it’s easier to shoot, has less recoil, holds more rds, has extreme velocity, and its devastation on target with soft points is great.
Still many or even most think the 5.7 is somehow inadequate for sd. Thoughts on why the king of fudd rounds, that being the 100 plus year old 9mm, seems to be the end all be all. And as for $, if you go +p or premium 9 ammo then it’s not much cheaper if any than good 10mm, 45, 40, or even 5.7.
Again serious question, even though it’s a little off topic but does the same logic apply.
