75 bthp by Hornady are a good affordable bullet to learn with.

75 eldm are a good choice if you have already figured out longer magazine length. The shortest you can load these is ~2.38”.

73 eldm are similar to above but designed to work at 2.26”.

Varget will likely be suitable for your setup, but like I said may or may not be a bit slow.

223 is a great cartridge to learn on.

Check europtic for the 75 ELD. Hard to beat this bullet if your gun likes them.

Yes.It’s an outstanding bullet. somewhere around 24.0 grains of Varget is a sweet spot and common load.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, first trip was a success. Found a promising load: 80 gr smk, 24.3 gr varget, 8.2 sd, 23 es, about .55” 10 shots, .020” off lands
