223 62 eldvt

Has anyone had any luck getting the 62 eldvt to shoot in a 223. I was debating giving them a try for coyotes if I switch my stock over to run AICS mags so I can seat them out longer for my 8 twist tikka.

Can’t say, they were plenty violent on pdogs

They shoot wonderfully out of my 8 twist 223 AI. Dial and shoot out to 800+. They do well in the wind too. Think 75gr BTHP.

Yes I did, 22 inch barrel getting 3140 fps with h4895 and .75 moa accuracy. 3200 plus with cfe223 but wasn't accurate. They are jump sensitive. I find them pretty tough much tougher than a v max.

Tha wasn’t even pushing it either. Plus benchmark is pretty temp stable.

The 62s are a pretty picky bullet though, but most aggressive 22 cal bullets seem that way to me.
