22 Creedmoor and Berger 88.5 Bullets

On the Hodgdon website, they give some high velocity with the new Ramshot Grand powder behind a Berger 85.5 Hybrid. Has anyone tried that powder yet? It's one space slower than H1000. Maybe a Magnum primer would be needed.

I haven’t tried the 85.5’s yet due to the fact the 80.5gr Full bores shoot so well. Shot this group cold bore the other day. Checking my 300 yard zero before this years coyote fest starts.

Straight neck down. 40 degree shoulder. I did it way back before YouTube pushed the 22 Creedmoor as cool. I had JGS do my reamer and go gauge. Whidden did my bushing dies(Long wait). I use it for coyotes and Rockchucks. I have shot deer with it. The 80.5gr Berger full bore is a wicked accurate bullet and extremely easy to tune. Terminal performance is excellent.

Hmmm, I can reach that velocity now with" Standard" (26"bbl) 22 CM. I've been shooting those 85.5 Berger with 46 grs of Ramshot Grand for 3400 FPS Fed 215 magnum primer.

Any cartridge can be pushed harder. That’s just where I left it. Super accurate. I’m running a 22” bbl (Suppressed).
