22 creed suppressor

Is it an RR or no RR? I’ve got an Ultra 9. Been thinking about the Magnus-RR for same sound signature but 50% recoil reduction

It’s the original Magnus so no RR. Ultra 9 is an awesome suppressor!!

Yea those RR ones looks awesome for the recoil reduction

I’ve had the ultra 9 for probably 10 years or longer. Every time I get an itch to upgrade, it just can’t be beat. I would have liked the 7”, but not going to change just for 2” and give up a little sound suppression and mv. But for 50% recoil reduction and being able to trace shots with a 7prc, that would be cool!

Yea hard to beat an ultra 9. They sure are nice. I have a family Member that had one.

It sure solidifies a fanboy here when I reach for ear pro next to shooters with non-TBs! A buddy was so excited for the deal he got on his can. I didn’t have the heart to tell him it sucked, but he probably got the hint after I put in ear pro after a few shots, lol
They are no doubt fine suppressors and work well.

I just find for hunting you can get same or better suppression in a much smaller and lighter package now. 3d printing has changed the game.

I think 3d has helped the most by being able to print 10 test cans rapidly. Try them. Then take the best one and make 10 more cans based on that design. Rinse and repeat. The R&D time and cost is cut way way down.

TBAC has created a passionate fan base for sure.

Many suppressors have passed them by, but the fanboys are hanging on!

I have a handful of suppressors and from different company’s. New and old. And the Thunderbeast ones I have still sound the best to my ear and seem to be the highest quality. Despite being older company and getting “passed by all these new suppressors.”

very intruiged by this. Wonder what the performance difference with this would be rather than a .30 cal or a 6mm can

The apex vapr is a 6mm bore. Need to test it out. But in my experience but the bore size makes only a few decimal difference. The human ear can’t tell. That’s why I think a 30 cal is a good one to have as you can use it on a lot of stuff

That’s exactly what my logic was, get a .30 to run on everything. Invested in the huxwrx Flow 7.62 Ti my as I was running it mainly on my 6 arc AR15. Super pleased with it for performance as a Flo thru style, even runnin it on my bolt actions. But just got a weatherby 307 22 creed as my new coyote rig, and playing with the idea of investing in a permanent supressor to stay on it 24/7. Was first sold on the idea of the PTR vent 1 for maximum sound reduction rated by pew science and a decent “low tone” sound per reviews online. But at the rate of new suppressors coming out and pew science not being able to keep up with all of them for testing and comparison, I’m not sure being as the topic is very “opinionated” as to the sound of suppressors going by reviews online

Still not a good selection of optimized .224 cal suppressors designed, engineered, & manufactured with larger case capacity in mind.
Technology is available, but apparently no manufacturing resources available, & or not a large enough market demand.

You think there would be with the demand of suppressors nowadays, especially when considering the amount of suppressors that get tossed on varmint rigs. Big hole in the marketplace waiting to get swooped up. Be like taking candy from a baby for the first one to do it

I agree…… most of what I’m seeing is larger bore suppressors with maybe a smaller diameter end cap. Not Optimal ! Or smaller 22 cans that work ok on .223 sized but again not optimal for the big case .224. Also most of these are for smaller barrel profiles, not a 1” dia type profile.
Smaller models that are loud, or heat up fast, or have increased back pressure are not desirable.
I’m somewhat forced to settle for something less than optimal. I don’t like doing that. It’s frustrating.

I asked the same question. Put July 6th on your Rokslide calendar.

I’ve got it marked already. Hoping it’s what I’m looking for. My criteria is a bit specific in regards to
Fitting a 1” barrel though.
Best scenario is a “224 Reaper” with Reflex to replace my 30 cal Reaper sporting a 6.5 end cap.
Which is nice but cant help thinking there’s a better option.
Crossing my fingers. 🤞
