What barrel twist are you using? I was planning on running the 88 eldm and then last night I watched Ultimate Reloader talk about how his 1-8 twist was not spinning the 88 enough to give tight groups.
I've known some people to get away with a 1-8" twist with the 88's, but they had longer barrels and were pushing them fast. I've got an 18" 1-7" twist and it does exceptionally well with the 88's.

Hornady 4dof is free and will tell you the stability in the app specific to Hornady tipped bullets.

I’d run the lowest elevation and coldest conditions you foresee and see what it is.

I’ve seen and shot a bunch of tikka 1-8” twist barrels with 88gr ELD-M’s- all have been fine. Though only a few at 0ft DA, but I am aware of a lot that are shot in very low DA’s.

Not a CM but my 22-250 AI very similar case capacity. I shoot 40.5 grs R26 with 88 Eldm, 2.620” oal. Doing 3150-3175 fps out of 26.5” barrel.

So I d say start at 40 or so and work towards 42 grs. Since it’s an overbore cartridge you can use some pretty slow powders in the R26, H1000 range. 7828 sc has done pretty well for us with 75-80 Eldms…. Around 41-42 grs.

Work up, good luck.
