2026 is supposed to be the year of the suppressor for me. I have a Gemtech Tundra in 9mm but no rifle cans and I’m planning to change that.

Use will be hunting and range work, I don’t see high volumes for any of them other than the 22lr.

What I am looking at is the following:

.223-300WM DA Nomad TI: various bolt guns will see the most centerfire use by far

.22LR DA Mask on a 10/22 Carbon.

DA Primal for 35 Whelen, 375 Ruger and 45-70.

I’m not a Dead Air fanboy, they seem to get good reviews and are in stock as opposed to some of the other highly recommended options.

Would I be making a mistake with any of these? Are there other options I should be looking at?

Don’t have a ton of suppressor experience but I’ll try to help with some thoughts at least…

You doing long range? It’s nice to true up a rifle and just shoot, not have to muck with it after swapping suppressors from rifle to rifle. Seems the market is going towards use-specific suppressors rather than a catch-all option. Food for thought, I don’t know your particular desired use.

I’ve had my B&T Tiger22 next to the DA Mask and the B&T is quieter. Slightly, but it’s there. Although it’s not able to be disassembled as the Dead Air is. If I were buying today I’d look at the Airlock Nano as well, there has been a ton of good stuff happening lately in the suppressor world. That said, tbh I couldn’t imagine having buyer’s remorse with the DA Mask.

That’s all I got, ain’t much but hope it helps!
